StoreShield 2.0.1

Review Room reload stability, Direct update packaging, and safer read-only report behavior.

Stability update Released June 2026

StoreShield 2.0.1

StoreShield 2.0.1 is a focused stability release for the 2.0 launch. It keeps historical Review Room reports stable when a read-only rescan opens the Pro prompt, and updates the Direct distribution artifacts.

Version

2.0.1

Historical Review Room reports stay stable when rescan is unavailable and the Pro prompt opens.
The toolbar rescan action now uses the same entitlement gate as the menu rescan command.
Report scrolling is restored after the Pro prompt closes without rebuilding the whole report.
Direct distribution now ships 2.0.1 build 3 with signed appcast metadata and a public release-notes link.

Review Room stability

The report view no longer rebuilds its scroll container just because a locked rescan asks for Pro.

  • Read-only history reports remain visible behind the Pro prompt.
  • Report scroll resets through a stable ScrollViewReader path instead of recreating the full view.
  • The main window layout is refreshed after the prompt closes.

Direct distribution

The Direct update channel now points to this release and keeps 2.0.0 available in the release history.

  • Sparkle appcast points to StoreShield 2.0.1 build 3.
  • The download page reports 2.0.1 as the current Direct version.
  • Release history keeps the 2.0.0 notes for users comparing changes.

Fixed

  • Locked report reload no longer crops the Review Room after the Pro prompt.
  • Toolbar reload and menu reload now follow the same entitlement path.
  • Direct release notes link now targets the 2.0.1 page.

Privacy note

No privacy behavior changed. Archive scans stay local; Review Room context imports stay offline; optional AI remains explicit and disabled by default.
