StoreShield

Refund Policy

Last updated: April 26, 2026

We want you to be happy with StoreShield. This policy explains when you can get your money back and how to ask for a refund.

1. 14-day no-questions-asked refund

For your first purchase of a StoreShield Pro subscription, we offer a full refund within 14 days of the original payment, no questions asked. This is in addition to any statutory consumer right you may have under EU law.

To request a refund, simply email [email protected] from the address used at checkout, with the subject line "Refund request". Include your order number if you have it. We'll process the refund within 5 business days, usually faster.

2. EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, EU consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase, without having to give any reason.

By starting to use StoreShield Pro before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly request that we begin performance of the contract immediately and you acknowledge that, under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you may lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Our voluntary 14-day refund policy above remains in force regardless and is more generous than the strict statutory rule.

3. Renewals

Subscription renewals are not automatically refundable. We send a reminder email 7 days before each renewal so you can cancel in time. If a renewal is charged in error (for example, you cancelled but were still billed), email us within 30 days and we will issue a full refund of the disputed renewal.

4. Annual plans

For annual plans, the 14-day refund window applies in the same way as for monthly plans. If you cancel an annual plan after the 14-day window, you will continue to have access until the end of the paid period, but no proportional refund is issued.

5. Refunds for technical issues

If StoreShield does not work on your Mac because of a confirmed bug we cannot resolve within 14 days of you reporting it, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of when you purchased. Contact us with the details of the issue and we will work with you.

6. How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record. Paddle returns the funds to the original payment method (card, PayPal, etc.). The funds typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

7. Free trial

The 7-day free trial requires no payment method, so there is nothing to refund. If you have feedback about the trial experience, we want to hear from you at [email protected].

8. Contact

All refund requests and billing questions: [email protected].
